Cypress Swamps
The Enchanted Cypress Swamps
Follow us and discover the ethereal beauty of the enchanted cypress swamps during this unique photography experience. We will find our way though the ancient bald cypress trees adorned with Spanish moss to find the most photogenic spots in the bayou. On foggy mornings, be prepared to discover a surreal landscape with endless photographic opportunities. We are spoiled by the dappled light filtering through the branches, and stunning reflections to capture as we witness the lake turn into a giant mirror.

We will be exploring hidden locations in both Louisiana and Texas in a comfortable boat modified for photography.

Disclaimer
This tour is dependent on weather, as the precise timing of peak autumn color vary every year. There is no guarantee for peak autumn color, although November is the best bet for it. However, the Cypress swamp is always beautiful to photograph in any condition. The appearance of fog is also highly dependent on weather and temperature.
